Who we are
This website is run by DJ B-ROC, a DJ and event producer based in Louisville, Kentucky ("DJ B-ROC," "we," "us"). This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions? Email itsdjbroc@gmail.com.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you send a booking inquiry, we collect what you enter in the form:
- Your first and last name, email address and phone number
- Your company or organization, if you provide it
- Event details: type of event, date, venue or city, hours of music, and anything you tell us in your message
If you call, text or email us directly, we receive the details you choose to share.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider and the services embedded on the page may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device, the pages you visit and the time of your visit.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry, check availability, send a quote and plan your event
- To communicate with you about a booking you've made or asked about
- To keep business records and meet our legal and tax obligations
- To keep the website working, secure and free of spam
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with others for their own marketing.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run this website and our business, and only as needed:
- Wix.com hosts this website and processes booking inquiries on our behalf, including storing form submissions and sending notification emails. See the Wix Privacy Policy.
- SoundCloud powers the music player on our site. If you use the player, SoundCloud may collect data and set cookies under the SoundCloud Privacy Policy.
- Google Fonts delivers the typefaces on this site, so your browser connects to Google's servers. See the Google Privacy Policy.
Links on this site to other services — such as Cash App for tips, TIDAL, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Facebook — take you to websites with their own privacy policies. We aren't responsible for how they handle your information.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, safety or property.
Cookies and local storage
This site uses your browser's local storage to keep a temporary, anonymous visitor token so the booking form can be sent securely. We don't use advertising cookies. Embedded services like SoundCloud may set their own cookies when you interact with them. You can clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings; the booking form may not work if you block local storage.
How long we keep it
We keep booking inquiries and related messages for as long as we need them to respond, perform a booking, and keep reasonable business and tax records. When we no longer need the information, we delete it or keep it in a form that no longer identifies you.
How we protect it
We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No website or transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Email itsdjbroc@gmail.com and we'll respond within a reasonable time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we'll honor them as required.
Children
This website is meant for adults planning events. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the effective date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
